The Test

Breathless sighs
through parted lips,
Eyes half closed,
Moving fingertips.
Bite marks
Scratches
Swish of sheets.
Sweat and stain
As bodies strain.
A secret smile
Aah - that's good!

tick tock
tick tock
urgent haste
tick tock
tick tock
faster faster...
screaming bells
and then release

Socks to pull
And strings to tie
As pens are shut
secretions dry.

Phew! I could almost feel the desperation of writing an exam! Invigilation creativity?

Hmmm. Is it just me or is does this poem seem slightly... hmmm? :D Of course, since I read the title before reading the poem I was able to enjoy the... double entendre... better :D

Invigilation creativity it is - one has to find remedies for boredom...:)

Made me wish I was doing 'The Test' ; even that nervous strain would be welcome as opposed to the ment-emotion-al strain issuing from staring vacantly into figments of diabolical vacuum.

The double entendre was interesting ( wouldn't have realised if someone hadn't pointed it out :D )
